To perform a factory reset on the Sony STR-DG2100, turn off the receiver. Then, while holding down the 'POWER' button, press and hold the 'TONE MODE' and 'AUDIO SPLIT' buttons simultaneously until 'CLEARING' appears on the display. Release the buttons, and the receiver will reset to its factory settings.
