To change the oil, first, ensure the engine is off and cool. Remove the oil fill cap, place a drain pan under the engine, and remove the drain plug. Allow the oil to fully drain, replace the drain plug, and refill with the recommended oil type.
Check the battery connections for corrosion, ensure the battery is charged, and verify the fuel level and fuel valve position. If the problem persists, inspect the spark plug and ignition system.
Regularly clean the cutting deck to prevent grass buildup, check for sharpness, and balance the blades. Lubricate moving parts and inspect the deck belt for wear.
The recommended tire pressure is 10-12 psi for the front tires and 8-10 psi for the rear tires. Refer to the owner's manual for specific recommendations.
Ensure the mower deck is level, check the tire pressure, and inspect the blades for sharpness and damage. Adjust the deck wheels if necessary.
Clean the tractor thoroughly, change the oil and filter, add fuel stabilizer, remove the battery and store it in a cool, dry place, and cover the tractor to protect it from elements.
Inspect the air filter every 25 hours of operation and replace it every 100 hours or annually, whichever comes first, or more frequently if used in dusty conditions.
Check for debris lodged in the cutting deck, inspect the blades for balance, ensure the engine mounting bolts are tight, and check the belts for wear.
Remove the blades from the mower deck, secure them in a vice, and use a file or grinder to sharpen the cutting edge, maintaining the blade's original angle. Balance the blade before reinstalling.
Perform a pre-operation check before each use, change the oil every 50 hours, replace the air filter every 100 hours, and review the owner's manual for a detailed maintenance schedule.
