To ensure optimal sound quality, insert the earphones into your ears and gently rotate them to find a snug fit. Use the different sizes of foam or rubber sleeves provided to find the best fit for your ear canal. This will also help in noise isolation.
Check if the earphone nozzle or sleeves are clogged with earwax or debris. Clean them gently with a soft, dry cloth or a small brush. Ensure that the audio source and cable connections are secure and try using a different device to determine if the issue persists.
Remove the foam or rubber sleeves and wash them with mild soap and water. Dry thoroughly before reattaching. Wipe the earphones with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using alcohol or harsh cleaning agents.
Store the earphones in the provided carrying case when not in use. Avoid wrapping the cable tightly around the earphones, as this can cause cable damage. Keep them away from extreme temperatures and moisture.
Gently pull off the old sleeves from the earphones. Align the new sleeves with the earphone nozzle and push them on until they are securely attached. Ensure they are firmly in place to avoid them coming off during use.
First, check the cable and connector for any visible damage. Try a different audio source to rule out device issues. If the problem persists, the earphone driver may be faulty, and you should contact Shure customer support for further assistance.
While the SCL2 earphones are designed for durability, they are not waterproof. Using them in heavy rain or during intense workouts with excessive sweating is not recommended to avoid potential damage.
Replace the foam sleeves when they no longer expand to fit your ear securely, when they appear discolored or damaged, or if they no longer provide adequate noise isolation. Regular replacement ensures optimal performance and hygiene.
Ensure that you are using the correct size of sleeves and that they are properly inserted into your ears. Foam sleeves tend to provide better noise isolation compared to rubber ones. Check for any gaps or improper fit that could allow external noise to seep in.
Use the cable management clip provided with your earphones to reduce tangling. When storing, lightly coil the cable without tightly winding it. Consider using a cable organizer or a case with a cable management feature.
