To assemble the Shark SS460 Mop, attach the handle to the main body by aligning the connectors and pressing firmly until you hear a click. Ensure that the water tank is securely attached before use.
Use distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal steam performance. Avoid using any cleaning solutions or additives in the water tank.
Ensure the mop is plugged in and powered on. Check if the water tank is filled and properly attached. Inspect the steam nozzle for any blockages and clean it if necessary.
Clean the mop pads after each use by machine washing them with a mild detergent. Allow them to air dry completely before the next use. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners.
Ensure the mop pad is clean and not overly saturated. Use distilled water and avoid excessive steam on sensitive floors. Move the mop slowly for even distribution of steam.
To descale, fill the water tank with equal parts of vinegar and water, let it sit for a few hours, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Run the mop with the vinegar solution to remove any deposits.
The Shark SS460 Mop is suitable for sealed hard floors. Avoid using it on unsealed floors, waxed floors, or surfaces that are sensitive to heat and moisture.
Empty the water tank, unplug the mop, and allow it to cool completely. Store it in a dry, upright position to prevent damage. Wrap the cord neatly to avoid tangling.
Check if the water tank is properly attached and not overfilled. Inspect the tank and seals for any cracks or damages. Contact customer support if the issue persists.
Ensure the mop is fully heated before use. Regularly clean the steam nozzle and use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup. Descale the unit periodically for optimal performance.
