Shark S3901 Owner's Guide

To assemble the Shark S3901 Mop, attach the handle to the main body by aligning the grooves and pushing until you hear a click. Attach the cleaning head by sliding it into place and securing it with the locking button. Finally, attach the microfiber pad to the head.
It is recommended to use distilled water in the Shark S3901 Mop to prevent mineral buildup in the steam system. Tap water can be used, but may lead to scaling over time.
The microfiber pads can be washed in a washing machine with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as these can damage the fibers. Air drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the pads.
Ensure the water tank is filled and properly seated. Check the power connection and switch to steam mode. If the problem persists, try cleaning the nozzle and checking for clogs.
Descaling should be done every 3 to 4 months, depending on usage and water hardness. Use a descaling solution or a mixture of vinegar and water to clean the internal steam pathways.
It is not recommended to use cleaning solutions in the Shark S3901 Mop water tank, as they can damage the steam system. The mop is designed to clean effectively with just steam.
Empty the water tank and allow the mop to cool before storing. Wrap the cord neatly around the designated hooks and store the mop in an upright position to prevent pad mildew.
The Shark S3901 Mop is suitable for sealed hard floors such as tile, hardwood, laminate, and stone. Avoid using on unsealed wood or unglazed tiles.
Check for blockages in the nozzle and clean the steam holes on the mop head. Ensure the water tank is full and reposition the mop head to allow proper steam distribution.
Ensure the microfiber pad is clean and not overly saturated. Move the mop at a steady pace, allowing steam to evaporate properly. Adjust steam settings if necessary.
