To assemble the Shark S3305 Mop, attach the handle by aligning it with the mop base and pushing them together until they click into place. Attach the cleaning pad to the mop head by placing the pad on the floor and aligning the mop head over it, then pressing down to secure the pad.
It is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water in the Shark S3305 Mop to prevent mineral buildup and ensure optimal steam production.
If your Shark S3305 Mop is not producing steam, check if the water tank is filled and securely attached. Ensure the mop is plugged in and the power light is on. If the mop still doesn't produce steam, check for clogs in the nozzle by using the provided nozzle cleaning tool.
Microfiber pads can be washed in the washing machine with liquid detergent. Avoid using bleach or fabric softeners. For best results, air dry the pads after washing.
The Shark S3305 Mop can be used on sealed hard floors such as hardwood, tile, laminate, and vinyl. It is not recommended for use on unsealed floors or carpets.
To store the Shark S3305 Mop, ensure it is unplugged and cooled down. Empty the water tank, remove and wash the cleaning pad, and store the mop in a dry, upright position.
If water streaks appear, make sure the microfiber pad is clean and not oversaturated. Adjust your cleaning speed as moving too slowly can leave excess water. Ensure the floor is sealed and not overly sensitive to moisture.
Microfiber cleaning pads should be replaced every 3 to 4 months depending on usage frequency and condition. If pads become worn or lose effectiveness even after washing, consider replacing them sooner.
It is not recommended to use cleaning solutions in the Shark S3305 Mop. It is designed to clean with steam alone, and adding solutions may damage the unit or reduce its effectiveness.
Regularly clean the water tank to prevent scale build-up by rinsing it with water and vinegar. Use distilled water to avoid mineral deposits. Clean the steam nozzle periodically and wash microfiber pads after each use. Store the mop properly when not in use to extend its lifespan.
