To clean the filters, first remove the dust cup. Then, take out the foam and felt filters located beneath it. Rinse them under lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Allow them to air dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinserting them back into the vacuum.
Loss of suction may be caused by a clogged hose or filters. Ensure all filters are clean and check the hose for any blockages. Also, empty the dust cup if it is full.
The HEPA filter is not washable. Instead, you should tap it over a trash can to remove any dust and debris. Replace it every 12 months for optimal performance.
First, ensure the vacuum is turned on and the brush roll switch is activated. Check for any obstructions in the brush roll area. If the brush roll is still not spinning, it may need to be reset by turning off the vacuum and pressing the reset button located on the side of the floor nozzle.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filters monthly, checking and removing any blockages from the hose and brush roll, and replacing the HEPA filter annually. Also, inspect the power cord for any damage.
Start by connecting the handle to the extension wand, then attach the extension wand to the motorized floor nozzle. Finally, insert the hose into the back of the vacuum. Ensure all parts are securely attached.
If the vacuum overheats, turn it off and unplug it. Check for any blockages in the hose or filters and allow the vacuum to cool down for at least 45 minutes before restarting.
Empty the dust cup after each use or when it reaches the max fill line to maintain optimal suction and performance.
