To assemble the Shark Navigator Lift-Away ZU560, attach the wand to the motorized floor nozzle, then connect the handle to the wand. Secure the hose into the back of the vacuum and clip the dust cup in place.
If the vacuum loses suction, check for blockages in the hose and filters. Empty the dust cup and clean or replace filters as needed. Ensure all connections are secure.
Clean the pre-motor foam and felt filters every three months. The HEPA filter should be cleaned once a year. Rinse them under water and let them air dry completely before reinserting.
To clean the brush roll, turn off and unplug the vacuum. Carefully cut away any hair or debris wrapped around the brush using scissors, and manually remove it. Remove the brush roll if necessary for a more thorough cleaning.
If the vacuum won't turn on, ensure it is plugged into a functioning outlet. Check the power switch and inspect the power cord for damage. If issues persist, contact Shark customer support.
If the vacuum overheats, it may automatically shut down. Turn it off and unplug it. Check for blockages and clean the filters. Allow it to cool down for at least 45 minutes before restarting.
To use the Lift-Away feature, press the Lift-Away button on the side of the vacuum to detach the canister. This allows you to clean hard-to-reach areas while using the wand and attachments.
Yes, the dust cup can be washed. Remove it from the vacuum, empty it, and rinse it with water. Ensure it is completely dry before reattaching it to the vacuum.
If the LED lights are not working, check the power connection and ensure the vacuum is plugged in and turned on. If the problem persists, inspect the LED connections or consult Shark customer support.
To prevent the vacuum from tipping over, ensure the hose is not pulled too tightly and keep the canister base stable on the floor. Use the Lift-Away feature for added stability when reaching high areas.
