Shark IQ Robot RV1000 Owner's Guide

To connect your Shark IQ Robot RV1000 to Wi-Fi, download the SharkClean app from the App Store or Google Play. Open the app, create an account or log in, and follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home Wi-Fi network. Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz network during this process.
If your Shark IQ Robot is not charging, ensure that the charging dock is plugged in and the power outlet is working. Check that the robot is properly aligned with the charging contacts on the dock. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the dock with a dry cloth to remove any debris.
To clean the brushes on your Shark IQ Robot, remove the main brush by pressing the release tabs and lifting it out. Remove any hair or debris wrapped around the brush. Use a pair of scissors to cut through tangled hair if necessary. Reinstall the brush securely before using the robot again.
If your robot gets stuck, check the surrounding area for obstacles such as cords, rugs, or furniture that might be blocking its path. Clear the area and restart the robot. Consider using the app's "no-go zones" feature to prevent the robot from entering areas where it frequently gets stuck.
To maintain the filter, remove the dustbin from the robot and take out the filter. Tap the filter gently over a trash can to remove dust and debris. Rinse the filter under cold water if necessary and let it air dry for 24 hours before reinstalling. Replace the filter every three months for optimal performance.
To improve mapping accuracy, ensure that your home is well-lit during cleaning runs and remove obstacles from the floor. Allow the robot to complete several cleaning cycles without interruption to enhance its understanding of your home's layout. Use the app to label rooms and set cleaning schedules for better performance.
If the robot is not picking up debris effectively, check the dustbin and empty it if full. Clean the filter and brushes as described in the maintenance instructions. Ensure the suction inlet is clear of obstructions. Adjust the cleaning mode settings in the app for more thorough cleaning if needed.
If the robot is not responding, check the battery level and charge it if necessary. Restart the robot by pressing the power button. Ensure your mobile device is connected to the internet and the SharkClean app is up to date. If issues persist, try resetting the Wi-Fi connection in the app.
To update the firmware, ensure the robot is connected to Wi-Fi and open the SharkClean app. If there is a new firmware update available, you will receive a notification in the app. Follow the in-app instructions to download and install the update. Keep the robot on the charging dock during the update process.
If the robot is making unusual noises, check for debris or obstructions in the brushroll, wheels, and suction inlet. Clean these components as needed. Ensure all parts are securely attached. If the noise persists, contact Shark customer support for further assistance.
