To fill the water tank, first unplug the iron and ensure it is cool. Open the water tank cover and fill it with water using a measuring cup. Do not exceed the maximum fill line. Close the cover securely before using.
Ensure that the water tank is filled and the iron is set to the correct temperature setting for steaming. If the issue persists, try cleaning the steam holes with a cotton swab and check for any mineral buildup.
To descale, fill the water tank with a mixture of half water and half white vinegar. Set the iron to the highest temperature and let it steam for a few minutes. Empty the tank and rinse with clean water several times before using.
To clean the soleplate, unplug the iron and let it cool. Wipe it with a damp cloth or sponge. For stubborn residue, use a paste of baking soda and water, gently scrubbing with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
Ensure the iron is unplugged and completely cooled. Empty any remaining water from the tank. Wrap the cord around the heel of the iron and store it upright in a dry place.
Water leakage can occur if the iron is used before reaching the desired temperature. Ensure the iron is fully heated before using the steam function, and avoid overfilling the water tank.
While tap water can be used, it's recommended to use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup and extend the life of your iron.
For best results, set the iron to the appropriate temperature for the fabric type. Use the steam burst feature for stubborn wrinkles, and iron on a flat, stable surface.
To reset the auto-shutoff feature, simply move the iron or press a button. This feature activates when the iron is left idle to prevent accidents.
It is recommended to clean the iron every month if used frequently. Regular cleaning helps prevent mineral buildup and ensures optimal steam performance.
