To fill the iron with water, ensure it is unplugged and completely cool. Open the water tank cover, use a measuring cup to pour water into the tank up to the maximum fill line, and then close the cover securely.
First, check if the iron is properly plugged in and the power outlet is functioning. Ensure the temperature dial is set to the desired setting. If the iron still does not heat, it may need professional servicing.
To clean the soleplate, unplug the iron and let it cool completely. Use a damp cloth or a non-abrasive sponge with a mild detergent to wipe the soleplate. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that might damage the surface.
Water leakage can occur if the iron is overfilled or used on low-temperature settings. Ensure the water level is below the maximum line and adjust the temperature setting according to the fabric requirements.
Regularly empty the water tank after use, clean the soleplate as needed, and store the iron in an upright position. Periodically check the cord and plug for any signs of wear or damage.
Fill the water tank, set the iron to a steam setting, and allow it to heat up. Press the steam button while ironing to release steam. For best results, use distilled water to prevent mineral build-up.
Ensure the water tank is filled and the temperature is set to a steam-compatible setting. Clean the steam vents by using a mixture of water and white vinegar if there is mineral build-up.
While tap water can be used, it is recommended to use distilled water to minimize mineral deposits and extend the life of the iron.
After unplugging and cooling the iron, empty any remaining water from the tank. Wrap the cord loosely around the base and store the iron in an upright position in a cool, dry place.
To descale, fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts water and white vinegar. Set the iron to a high steam setting and let it steam for several minutes. Rinse the tank with clean water afterward.
