Firstly, ensure the outdoor sensor is within the transmission range and that its batteries are functioning. Try re-syncing the sensor by removing and reinserting the batteries, then press the 'SYNC' button on the main unit.
To reset the weather station, press and hold the 'RESET' button found in the battery compartment for about 5 seconds. This will clear all settings and data.
Press the 'UNIT' button on the back of the main unit to toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Regularly check and replace the batteries in both the main unit and outdoor sensor. Keep the sensors and display units clean and dry, and periodically verify the sensor connections and mounts.
Ensure that the main unit is not placed near heat sources or in direct sunlight, as this can affect temperature readings. Also, verify that it is not placed near drafts or vents.
Ensure there are minimal obstacles between the main unit and the sensor. Avoid placing them near large metal objects or electronic devices that might interfere with the signal.
The Sencor SWS 12500 is designed to work with a specific set of sensors included in the package. Additional sensors are not supported.
Check the batteries in the main unit, as they might need replacing. If new batteries do not resolve the issue, try resetting the unit.
Mount the outdoor sensor in an open area, away from direct sunlight and protected from rain. It should be approximately 1.5 to 2 meters above the ground for accurate readings.
