To calibrate the Sencor SCA BA01, ensure the device is turned off. Press and hold the power button until the calibration mode is activated. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
If an error message appears, turn off the device and remove the batteries. Wait for a minute, reinsert the batteries, and turn the unit back on. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
It is recommended to recalibrate the alcohol tester every 6 months or after 200 uses, whichever comes first, to ensure accurate readings.
The Sencor SCA BA01 can be used in temperatures ranging from 5°C to 40°C. For optimal performance, avoid using the device in extremely cold or hot weather conditions.
Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using any chemical cleaners or submerging the device in water. Regularly check for battery corrosion and replace batteries as needed.
Ensure that the user has not consumed any food or drink for at least 20 minutes before testing. Perform the test in a well-ventilated area and follow the instructions precisely.
Waiting for a few minutes between tests allows the sensor to reset and ensures that residual alcohol from the previous test does not affect the new reading.
The Sencor SCA BA01 uses two AAA batteries. Under normal usage conditions, the batteries can last approximately 300 tests before needing replacement.
While the Sencor SCA BA01 is designed for personal use, it provides reliable readings for non-professional applications. For professional settings, consider devices with higher precision and certification standards.
Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure that the device is turned off and remove the batteries if storing for an extended period to prevent corrosion.
