To fill the water tank, first ensure the iron is unplugged and cool. Open the water tank cover and use the provided filling cup to pour water into the tank until it reaches the MAX fill line. Close the cover securely before use.
If the iron does not heat up, check that it is plugged into a functional power outlet. Ensure the temperature control dial is set above the minimum setting. If the issue persists, check the power cord for damage or contact customer service.
To clean the soleplate, unplug the iron and let it cool completely. Use a damp cloth with mild detergent to wipe the soleplate. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads as they may damage the surface.
To prevent water leakage, do not exceed the MAX fill line when filling the water tank. Ensure the tank cover is closed securely and avoid using the steam function at low temperatures. Store the iron in an upright position after use.
To use the steam burst feature, ensure there is enough water in the tank and the iron is set to a high temperature. Press the steam burst button at intervals while ironing to release a powerful burst of steam.
Regular maintenance includes emptying the water tank after each use, cleaning the soleplate as needed, and occasionally using a descaling solution to remove mineral deposits. Always refer to the user manual for detailed maintenance instructions.
To prevent sticking, ensure the soleplate is clean and use the appropriate temperature setting for different fabrics. Start with a lower temperature and gradually increase if necessary. Use the steam function to help smooth out fabrics.
It is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to prevent mineral buildup. If tap water is used, ensure it is not hard water, which can cause scaling. Regular descaling will help maintain performance.
After use, unplug the iron and let it cool completely. Empty the water tank and wipe the soleplate if necessary. Wrap the power cord loosely around the cord storage area and store the iron in an upright position.
If the steam function is not working, ensure there is enough water in the tank and the temperature is set to a high level. Check for clogs in the steam vents and clean them if necessary. Descaling the iron may also improve steam output.
