To fill the water tank, first ensure the iron is unplugged and cooled down. Open the water inlet cover, then use a measuring cup to pour water into the tank up to the maximum fill line. Close the cover securely before using the iron.
If the iron is not heating up, first check that it is plugged in and the power supply is working. Ensure the temperature dial is set above the minimum setting. If the problem persists, the iron may need servicing.
To clean the soleplate, unplug the iron and let it cool. Use a damp cloth or a non-abrasive cleaner to wipe the soleplate. Avoid using sharp objects or abrasive materials to prevent damage.
Water leakage can occur if the iron is used at a low temperature with steam. Ensure the temperature setting is appropriate for steam ironing. Additionally, avoid overfilling the water tank.
To descale, fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar. Heat the iron and press the steam button until the tank is empty. Refill with clean water and repeat to flush out any residue.
After use, unplug the iron and let it cool completely. Empty the water tank to prevent mineral buildup. Store the iron upright in a dry place to avoid damage to the soleplate.
Ensure the water tank is filled and the temperature is set to a steam-ready level. Check for any blockages in the steam vents. If the issue persists, a cleaning cycle may be needed to remove mineral deposits.
To prevent fabric shine, use a pressing cloth between the iron and the fabric. Set the iron to the appropriate temperature for the material and avoid holding the iron in one place for too long.
The iron includes an automatic shut-off feature that activates if the iron is left idle for a prolonged period. It also has a thermal fuse to prevent overheating.
For optimal steam burst performance, ensure the water tank is adequately filled and the iron is preheated to the appropriate temperature. Use the burst function intermittently to avoid water spotting.
