To start making ice, first plug in the ice maker and fill the water reservoir with clean water up to the indicated level. Close the lid, press the power button to turn on the machine, and select the desired ice cube size. The machine will begin the ice-making cycle automatically.
Ensure that the water reservoir is filled with enough water and check that the water is not too cold, as this might cause smaller ice cubes. Additionally, inspect the water filter for any blockages and clean it if necessary.
It is recommended to clean the ice maker every few weeks or after every use if it is used infrequently. Always ensure the machine is unplugged and empty before cleaning. Use a mild detergent and warm water to clean the reservoir and exterior.
Check to ensure the ice maker is placed on a stable and level surface. Loud noises may also result from internal components being blocked or dirty, so inspect and clean the interior parts, especially the fan and compressor area.
While the ice maker is designed for indoor use, it can be used outdoors if kept in a shaded, dry location away from direct sunlight and moisture, and if the ambient temperature is within the operating range specified in the manual.
The "Add Water" indicator may be triggered if the water sensor is dirty or blocked. Clean the sensor located inside the reservoir with a soft cloth. If the issue persists, ensure the water level is above the minimum required line.
Check if the ice basket is full or if any ice is stuck in the dispensing chute. Clear any blockages, and make sure the machine is not in standby mode. Restart the machine if necessary.
Press the 'Select' button on the control panel to cycle through the available ice cube size options: small, medium, and large. The selected size will be indicated by the corresponding light on the panel.
While it is not mandatory to use filtered water, doing so can improve the taste of the ice and prevent mineral buildup inside the machine, potentially extending its lifespan.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the machine, checking and replacing the water filter as needed, and ensuring the machine is kept in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating. Always follow the maintenance guidelines provided in the user manual.
