To fill the iron with water, ensure it is unplugged and cool. Open the water tank cover, use the provided measuring cup to pour water into the tank up to the maximum fill line, and then securely close the cover.
If the iron is not heating, check if it is properly plugged in and the power outlet is functional. Verify the temperature setting is appropriate for your fabric. If the issue persists, consult the manual or contact customer support.
To clean the soleplate, unplug the iron and let it cool. Use a damp cloth with a mild detergent to wipe the soleplate. Avoid abrasive cleaners. For stubborn stains, use a mixture of vinegar and water.
Regularly clean the water tank to prevent mineral buildup, clean the soleplate, and store the iron in a dry place. Use distilled water to minimize scaling.
Ensure the water tank is not overfilled and the cover is securely closed. Avoid using the steam function before the iron reaches the desired temperature.
To descale, fill the tank with a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar, set the iron to the highest steam setting, and let it steam for a few minutes. Empty the tank and rinse with clean water.
Check if there is enough water in the tank and the iron is set to a steam-compatible temperature. Descale the iron if necessary, and ensure the steam holes are not blocked.
While you can use tap water, it is recommended to use distilled or demineralized water to reduce mineral buildup and prolong the iron's lifespan.
Allow the iron to cool completely, empty the water tank, and wrap the cord loosely around the base. Store it in an upright position in a dry place.
Unplug the iron and allow it to cool. Clean the soleplate and check for any residue in the water tank. If the smell persists, consult the manual or contact customer support.
