To clean the soleplate, unplug the iron and let it cool. Use a damp cloth with a small amount of mild detergent to wipe the soleplate. Avoid using abrasive cleaners to prevent damage.
Ensure the iron is plugged in and the power is on. Check the temperature setting and adjust if necessary. If it still doesn't heat, inspect the power cord for damage or consult a professional technician.
Make sure the water tank is not overfilled and the iron is used at the recommended temperature settings. Avoid using the steam function at lower temperatures to prevent leakage.
Ensure the iron is turned off, unplugged, and completely cooled down. Empty the water tank and store the iron in an upright position, preferably in a dry place.
Fill the water tank with a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar. Turn on the iron and set it to steam mode. Let it steam for about 5 minutes, then rinse the tank with clean water to remove any residue.
Ensure the water tank is filled with distilled water. Set the iron to the appropriate temperature for steam and press the steam button while ironing over fabric to release steam evenly.
Check if the soleplate is dirty and clean it if necessary. Ensure you are using the correct temperature setting for the fabric to avoid scorching.
While you can use tap water, it is recommended to use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup and extend the life of the iron.
Check the water level in the tank and ensure it is filled. Verify that the steam setting is correctly adjusted. If the steam function still fails, the iron may need descaling or professional servicing.
The iron does not have a specific temperature lock feature. Always double-check the setting before ironing to ensure it's appropriate for the fabric type.
