To turn on the Sencor SFH 9013 Heater, plug it into a power outlet and switch the power button to the 'On' position. Use the control panel to adjust the desired settings.
Ensure the heater is plugged in and turned on. Check if the thermostat is set higher than the current room temperature. If it still doesn’t produce heat, inspect for a tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse.
It is recommended to clean the filter every two weeks to ensure efficient operation. Depending on usage and environmental conditions, you may need to clean it more frequently.
Ensure the heater is turned off and unplugged. Clean the unit and store it in a cool, dry place away from moisture and dust. Avoid wrapping the cord tightly around the unit.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with the heater. If necessary, ensure the extension cord is a heavy-duty type that is rated for at least 15 amps.
To reset the overheat protection, turn off the heater and unplug it. Wait for the unit to cool down completely, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check for any loose parts or debris inside the heater. Ensure the heater is on a stable surface. If the noise persists, contact Sencor customer support for further assistance.
Use the control panel to set the desired temperature. The thermostat will automatically regulate the heating based on the room temperature and the set value.
While the heater is equipped with safety features, it is generally not recommended to leave any space heater unattended or on while sleeping. Consider using a timer or automatic shutoff feature.
It is normal for a new heater to emit a slight burning smell during the first few uses as the protective oils burn off. If the smell persists, ensure there is no debris on the heating element.
