To set up your Sencor SFH 8050SL Heater, unbox the unit and place it on a flat, stable surface away from flammable materials. Connect it to a power outlet and use the control panel to set the desired temperature and mode.
Ensure the heater is plugged into a working outlet. Check if the power switch is turned on and whether the thermostat is set above the current room temperature. If it still doesn't work, inspect the power cord for any damage.
Turn off and unplug the heater. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For internal components, refer to the user manual for instructions on cleaning or contact customer support for assistance. Never immerse the heater in water.
Regularly clean the heater's exterior and inspect for any signs of wear or damage. Check the power cord and plug for safety. Ensure the air intake and outlet grilles are free of dust and debris to maintain efficient operation.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord with the heater as it may overheat and pose a fire risk. Plug the heater directly into a wall outlet whenever possible.
Some noise is normal due to the fan operation. However, if you hear rattling or unusual sounds, turn off the heater and check for any loose parts or debris obstructing the fan. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
Unplug the heater and allow it to cool down completely. Once cooled, plug it back in and turn it on. Ensure the heater is not obstructed and has adequate ventilation to prevent future overheating.
The heater includes an overheat protection system that automatically shuts off the unit if it becomes too hot. It also features a tip-over switch that cuts power if the heater is knocked over.
Use the heater's control panel to set your desired temperature. The thermostat will automatically adjust the heating element to maintain the set temperature. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions.
While the heater has safety features, it is generally not recommended to leave any heater unattended or on while sleeping. If you must use it overnight, ensure it is on a stable surface and away from flammable materials.
