To calibrate the Sencor SBS 7000 Scale, turn on the scale and wait for it to display '0.0'. Press and hold the calibration button until the display shows 'CAL', then place a known weight on the scale. The scale will automatically adjust and display 'End' when calibration is complete.
If the scale displays an error message, first ensure the scale is on a flat surface and not overloaded. Refer to the user manual for specific error codes. If the issue persists, remove the batteries, wait a few minutes, and then reinsert them.
To change the unit of measurement, press the unit button on the scale until your desired unit (kg, lb, st) appears on the display. The scale will remember this setting for future use.
The maximum weight capacity of the Sencor SBS 7000 Scale is 180 kilograms or 396 pounds. Exceeding this limit may damage the scale.
To ensure accurate readings, place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring. Additionally, weigh yourself at the same time each day and avoid weighing right after eating or drinking.
To replace the batteries, open the battery compartment on the back of the scale. Remove the old batteries and insert new ones, ensuring the correct polarity. Close the compartment securely before using the scale again.
It is not recommended to use the scale on a carpet as it may lead to inaccurate readings. For best results, place the scale on a hard and level surface.
If the scale does not turn on, check the battery compartment to ensure the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace the batteries if necessary. If the issue persists, contact customer support.
To clean the scale, use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging the scale in water. Ensure the scale is dry before the next use.
While the Sencor SBS 7000 Scale can measure smaller items, it is primarily designed for body weight measurement. For precision weighing of small items, a dedicated kitchen or precision scale is recommended.
