To calibrate the Sencor SBS 5050BK Scale, place the scale on a flat, hard surface. Step on the scale to activate it, then wait for it to display '0.0'. The scale will calibrate automatically.
The 'Err' message typically indicates an overload. Ensure nothing exceeding the maximum weight limit is on the scale. Remove excess weight and try again.
To switch units, locate the unit button on the back of the scale. Press it to toggle between kilograms (kg), pounds (lb), and stones (st).
Check if the batteries are inserted correctly or need replacement. Ensure that the battery compartment is clean and free from corrosion.
Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the surface of the scale. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or submerging the scale in water to prevent damage.
Store the scale in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure it is placed flat to avoid any unnecessary pressure on the sensors.
To reset the scale, remove the batteries and leave it without power for about one minute. Reinsert the batteries and turn the scale on.
Ensure the scale is on a stable, flat surface. Uneven flooring or movement during weighing can cause variations. Allow the scale to recalibrate between uses.
It is not recommended to use the scale on carpet as it may affect accuracy. Place it on a hard, flat surface for the best results.
The Sencor SBS 5050BK Scale typically uses AAA batteries. Refer to the user manual for detailed battery specifications and installation instructions.
