To calibrate the Sencor SBS 113SL Scale, place it on a flat, stable surface. Turn it on and let it automatically adjust to zero. If needed, press the calibration button and follow the on-screen instructions.
First, ensure that the scale is on a level surface. Check the user manual for specific error codes. Common solutions include resetting the scale by removing the batteries for a few minutes and then reinserting them.
Press the unit button located on the scale to toggle between kilograms, pounds, and stones. Ensure that the scale is powered on when making these adjustments.
Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace them if necessary. Also, ensure the contact points in the battery compartment are clean and free of corrosion.
Battery replacement frequency depends on usage, but typically every 6 months to a year is recommended. Always monitor the scale for a low battery indicator.
It is not recommended to use the scale on carpet as it may result in inaccurate readings. Place the scale on a hard, flat surface for the best accuracy.
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the scale's surface. Avoid using harsh chemicals or submerging the scale in water. Regularly check and clean the battery contacts.
Ensure the scale is placed on a stable and level surface. Make sure your feet are positioned correctly on the scale. If inconsistencies persist, try recalibrating the scale.
Store the scale in a dry place away from direct sunlight. If not using for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.
The scale is designed for personal body weight measurements and may not accurately weigh small items. Consider using a kitchen or precision scale for smaller measurements.
