To preheat the Sencor SBG 6231SS Grill, plug in the grill and set the desired temperature using the temperature control knob. Allow it to heat up for approximately 5-10 minutes until the indicator light shows it has reached the set temperature.
Ensure the grill is unplugged and completely cool. Remove the grill plates and wash them with warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive sponge to avoid damaging the non-stick surface. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reattaching.
To prevent food from sticking, preheat the grill properly and lightly coat the grill plates with a high-smoke point oil such as canola or vegetable oil before cooking.
Check to ensure the grill is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. Inspect the power cord for any damage. If the grill still does not turn on, contact Sencor customer support for further assistance.
Use the temperature control knob located on the front of the grill to set the desired temperature. Refer to the user manual for recommended temperature settings for various types of food.
It is recommended to use only wooden or silicone utensils on the grill plates to avoid scratching the non-stick coating.
Ensure the grill is clean and completely dry. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. If possible, place it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
For optimal performance and safety, it is recommended not to exceed 60 minutes of continuous use. Allow the grill to cool down before using it again.
The grill is ready to use when the preheat indicator light turns off, indicating it has reached the set temperature.
If the grill overheats, unplug it immediately and allow it to cool down. Check for any obstructions in the air vents and ensure the temperature setting is appropriate for the food being cooked.
