To change the blade, first ensure that the saw is unplugged. Use the wrench provided to loosen the arbor nut, remove the old blade, and replace it with a new one, ensuring the teeth face in the correct direction. Tighten the arbor nut securely.
To align the fence, ensure it is parallel to the blade by measuring the distance from the fence to the blade at both the front and back. Adjust as necessary until both measurements are equal.
Check the power supply and ensure the saw is plugged in correctly. Inspect the fuse or circuit breaker. If these are fine, check the motor's brushes for wear and replace them if necessary.
Regularly clean the sawdust from the machine, check and tighten all bolts and screws, lubricate moving parts, and inspect the blade for sharpness and replace if dull.
Ensure the saw is unplugged and the blade guard is in place. Lock the saw blade in its lowest position, and if possible, detach any removable parts like the fence. Secure the saw with straps when transporting.
Check if the blade is dull or damaged and replace it if necessary. Make sure the blade is properly aligned and the arbor nut is tight. Ensure the workpiece is securely against the fence during cutting.
To adjust the cutting depth, unlock the depth adjustment lever, raise or lower the blade to the desired height, and then lock the lever back in place.
The Scheppach TS 251 is designed to handle dado blade sets, but always refer to the user manual to ensure compatibility and follow safety procedures when installing and using dado blades.
The Scheppach TS 251 has a maximum cutting depth of 3 inches at 90 degrees and 2 inches at 45 degrees.
Use a miter gauge and ensure it is correctly set to the desired angle. Double-check the angle with a protractor before making the cut and secure the workpiece firmly against the miter gauge.
