To assemble the Scheppach TRW1800D Paddle Mixer, start by attaching the handle to the main body using the provided screws. Then, securely fix the mixing paddle to the shaft by tightening the locking nut. Ensure all parts are firmly connected before use.
If the paddle mixer does not start, check that it is properly plugged in and the power source is functioning. Also, ensure that the power switch is in the 'on' position. If it still does not start, inspect the fuse and replace it if necessary.
To maintain the paddle mixer, regularly clean the paddle and housing after each use to prevent material build-up. Lubricate the moving parts periodically and store the mixer in a dry place to prevent rust.
Always wear protective gear such as gloves and goggles when operating the mixer. Ensure the mixer is on a stable surface and never leave it unattended while in operation. Disconnect the power before making any adjustments.
To change the mixing paddle, first disconnect the power. Loosen the locking nut on the current paddle and remove it. Attach the new paddle and tighten the locking nut securely before reconnecting the power.
Overheating can occur if the mixer is used continuously for extended periods. Allow the mixer to cool down periodically, and check for any obstructions in the ventilation slots. Ensure the load is within the recommended capacity.
For heavy materials, it is recommended to start at a low speed to avoid splashing and gradually increase the speed as the mixture becomes more homogeneous. Refer to the manual for specific speed settings suitable for different materials.
Ensure that the paddle is correctly attached and balanced. Check if the material being mixed is distributed evenly. If the problem persists, inspect the shaft and bearings for wear or damage.
Some noise is normal due to the motor and mixing action. However, if you hear unusual sounds such as grinding or excessive rattling, stop the mixer and inspect for any loose parts or obstructions.
The Scheppach TRW1800D Paddle Mixer requires a standard 230V AC power source. Ensure that the power outlet can handle the required voltage and current rating of the mixer.
