To adjust the blade alignment, first ensure the saw is unplugged. Loosen the bolts on the blade guard, adjust the blade to the desired position, and then tighten the bolts securely. Check alignment using a square to ensure accuracy.
Unplug the saw and raise the blade to its highest position. Remove the blade guard and arbor nut using a wrench. Carefully remove the old blade and replace it with a new one, ensuring the teeth face forward. Re-tighten the arbor nut and reattach the blade guard.
Check if the saw is properly plugged in and the power source is functioning. Inspect the power cord for damage. Ensure the safety switch is engaged. If the problem persists, the motor brushes might need replacement or there could be an internal electrical issue.
Regularly clean the sawdust from the table and motor housing. Lubricate moving parts like the blade pivot and guide rails. Check the blade for sharpness and replace as needed. Periodically inspect the power cord and switches for wear.
Align the rip fence parallel to the blade using a measuring tape. Loosen the locking knobs and adjust the fence, then tighten the knobs. Use a square to verify the alignment and make fine adjustments as necessary.
Excessive noise can be due to a dull blade, misaligned parts, or worn bearings. Check the blade for sharpness and alignment. Inspect the motor bearings and replace them if they are worn or damaged.
Always wear safety goggles and hearing protection. Keep hands away from the blade and use push sticks for small workpieces. Ensure all guards are in place and the work area is clean and well-lit.
Stop cutting immediately and turn off the saw. Allow the blade to cool before inspecting it. Check for any obstructions or excessive friction in the cut, and ensure the blade is sharp and clean.
Unplug the saw and locate the brush caps on the motor. Remove the caps with a screwdriver and take out the old brushes. Insert new brushes and secure the caps back in place. Test the saw to ensure proper operation.
Inaccurate cuts can result from a misaligned blade, worn rip fence, or incorrect table height. Verify and adjust the alignment of the blade and fence, and check that the table is level.
