To start the mower, ensure the fuel tank is filled, the oil level is adequate, and the throttle is set to 'Choke'. Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts, then set the throttle to 'Run'.
Use unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using fuel with more than 10% ethanol content.
Change the oil every 25 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season, whichever comes first.
Perform regular maintenance including checking the oil level before each use, cleaning or replacing the air filter every 25 hours, and sharpening the blade at least once per season.
Check the fuel level and refill if necessary. Ensure the spark plug is connected and in good condition. Make sure the air filter is clean. If problems persist, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Check for clogged air filters, inspect and clean the carburetor, and ensure the fuel is fresh. Also, check the spark plug for wear and replace if necessary.
Adjust the cutting height by using the lever located near the wheel. The mower typically offers multiple height settings to suit various grass lengths.
It is not recommended to mow wet grass as it can clog the mower, cause uneven cuts, and might be unsafe due to slippery conditions.
Wear appropriate safety gear, including eye and ear protection. Keep hands and feet away from the cutting deck, and do not operate the mower on steep slopes to prevent tipping.
Clean the mower thoroughly, drain the fuel tank, and check for any maintenance needs. Store in a dry, sheltered location to prevent rust and damage.
