To change the blade, first disconnect the saw from the power source. Use the provided wrench to loosen the arbor nut while holding the blade in place with a piece of wood. Remove the old blade and replace it with a new one, ensuring the teeth are facing in the correct cutting direction. Tighten the arbor nut securely.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the sawdust and debris from the saw, checking the blade for wear and sharpness, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting the power cord for any damage. Ensure all bolts and screws are tightened properly.
First, check if the saw is properly plugged in and the power outlet is functional. Inspect the power cord for any damage. Ensure the switch is in the 'on' position. If the saw still does not start, check the fuse or circuit breaker and replace or reset if necessary.
Always wear safety goggles and ear protection. Ensure the saw is on a stable surface and that the work area is clean. Keep hands away from the blade and use push sticks when necessary. Always disconnect the saw from the power source before making adjustments or changing the blade.
To align the fence, loosen the locking levers and adjust the fence parallel to the blade using a carpenter’s square. Once aligned, tighten the locking levers securely. Test the alignment by making a test cut on scrap wood.
The maximum cutting depth of the Scheppach HS110 is 85mm at 90 degrees and 65mm at 45 degrees. Always ensure the blade is fully raised for maximum cutting depth.
After use, disconnect the saw from the power source and use a brush or compressed air to remove sawdust from the blade, table, and motor vents. Wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth and ensure no debris is left in the moving parts.
If the blade is wobbling, first ensure it is properly tightened. Check the arbor for damage or dirt, and clean or replace as necessary. Inspect the blade for any warping and replace it if it's not true.
The Scheppach HS110 is designed primarily for wood cutting. Using it to cut metal can damage the blade and the saw. If metal cutting is necessary, use a metal-cutting blade and ensure the saw is rated for such use.
To adjust the bevel angle, loosen the bevel lock lever located at the front or side of the saw. Tilt the blade to the desired angle using the bevel scale as a guide, then tighten the lock lever to secure the blade at the new angle.
