Scheppach HP1100S 5904603903 Instruction Manual

To start the Scheppach HP1100S Plate Compactor, ensure the fuel tank is filled, the choke is in the correct position, and the engine switch is on. Pull the starter grip gently until you feel resistance, then pull it briskly to start the engine.
If the engine fails to start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and verify that the air filter is not clogged. Adjust the choke and try starting again.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 20 hours of use and subsequently every 50 hours of operation or at least once per season.
Use SAE 10W-30 oil for general use. Always refer to the user manual for specific oil recommendations based on your operating environment.
Clean the air filter every 25 hours of use or more frequently in dusty conditions. Remove the filter, wash it in warm, soapy water, rinse it thoroughly, and let it dry completely before reinstalling.
Excessive vibration might be due to loose parts or an unbalanced base plate. Inspect the machine for any loose screws or bolts and tighten them. Ensure the base plate is clean and free of debris.
For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank, change the oil, clean the air filter, and store the compactor in a dry place. Cover the machine to protect it from dust and moisture.
Wear protective gear, ensure the work area is clear of obstacles, never operate the machine on slopes greater than 20 degrees, and always turn off the engine before performing any maintenance.
Loss of compaction performance could be due to a worn base plate or low engine power. Inspect the base plate for wear, and ensure the engine is running smoothly at full throttle.
Inspect the fuel lines and connections for any signs of cracks or damage. Ensure the fuel cap is securely tightened and the gasket is intact. Replace any damaged parts immediately.
