The Scheppach FS 3600 Tile Cutter has a maximum cutting length of 920 mm, which allows for cutting large format tiles efficiently.
To properly align tiles, use the adjustable guide and angle stop to ensure precision. Double-check alignment before cutting to avoid errors.
It is recommended to use a diamond blade designed for wet cutting to ensure clean and accurate cuts while minimizing wear on the blade.
Regularly clean the water pump and filter to prevent blockages. Ensure that the water level is adequate before each use to maintain proper cooling and dust suppression.
Always wear safety goggles and gloves. Ensure the work area is clean and dry, and never bypass safety features. Disconnect the power when making adjustments.
Check the alignment of the guide rail and ensure the blade is not worn or damaged. Verify that the tile is secured properly and the surface is clean.
Disconnect the power supply, then remove the blade guard. Loosen the arbor nut, remove the old blade, and replace it with a new one. Re-tighten the arbor nut and replace the guard.
Regularly inspect the machine for wear and tear. Clean after each use, and perform a thorough check every 6 months or after every 50 hours of use.
If the tile cutter does not start, check the power supply and cable connections. Ensure that the power switch is functioning and inspect for any blown fuses or tripped breakers.
The FS 3600 is specifically designed for cutting ceramic and stone tiles. Using it for other materials is not recommended and may damage the machine or reduce cutting quality.
