Ensure the compressor is placed on a stable, flat surface. Check the oil level through the sight glass; it should be between the min and max markers. Attach the air filter and connect the compressor to a suitable power source.
Perform a general inspection before each use, check and replace the air filter every six months, and change the oil every 300 hours of operation or annually, whichever comes first.
Check the power supply and ensure the plug is properly connected. Inspect the fuse and replace if necessary. Also, ensure the pressure switch is set to 'On' and the tank pressure is below the cut-in pressure.
The compressor may shut off due to overheating or if the thermal protection has been triggered. Allow the unit to cool down and check for any obstructions to airflow around the compressor.
Use the pressure regulator knob to adjust the output pressure. Turn clockwise to increase pressure and counterclockwise to decrease it, while monitoring the pressure gauge to achieve the desired setting.
Inspect all connections, hoses, and fittings for signs of wear or damage. Tighten any loose connections and replace any damaged parts to prevent air leakage.
It is recommended to drain the air tank after each use to prevent moisture build-up and corrosion inside the tank.
Use a high-quality, non-detergent compressor oil with a viscosity rating of SAE 30 or ISO VG 100.
Unscrew the air filter cover, remove the old filter, and install the new filter. Ensure the filter is seated properly before replacing the cover.
Check for loose components, ensure the compressor is on a stable surface, and inspect the air filter and belts for wear. Tighten any loose parts and replace any components that are worn or damaged.
