Ensure the compressor is placed on a flat, stable surface. Check that all components are securely attached, and connect the power supply. Verify the oil level is adequate by checking the sight glass, and fill if necessary.
Use a high-quality, non-detergent air compressor oil with a viscosity grade of SAE 30 or equivalent.
The oil should be changed after the first 50 hours of use and every 200 hours thereafter, or at least once a year.
Check for air leaks in hoses and connections, ensure the drain valve is fully closed, and inspect the pressure switch for proper operation.
The maximum pressure setting is 8 bar (approximately 116 PSI). Ensure you do not exceed this limit to avoid damage.
Regularly drain the air tank after use by opening the drain valve to release any accumulated moisture. Consider using an inline moisture filter for additional protection.
Turn off the compressor and allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes. Check for proper ventilation around the unit and ensure the cooling fins are clean.
Turn the pressure regulator knob clockwise to increase pressure and counterclockwise to decrease it. Monitor the pressure gauge to achieve the desired setting.
Perform regular checks on the oil level, air filter cleanliness, and inspect for air leaks. Drain the tank to remove moisture and check the pressure relief valve for proper function.
This could be due to an overloaded motor or electrical issue. Ensure the power supply is stable, and check the circuit breaker. If the problem persists, consult a professional.
