To install your Norpole NPPAC12KWM, ensure that the exhaust hose is correctly connected to the back of the unit and vented outside. Place the unit on a flat surface and keep it upright for at least 24 hours before use.
Check if the air filter is clean and free from obstructions. Ensure that all windows and doors are closed tightly. Make sure the unit is set to the appropriate cooling mode and the temperature is set lower than the room temperature.
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently if you live in a dusty environment. Rinse it under warm running water and let it dry completely before reinserting.
At the end of the season, clean the air filter, drain any remaining water, and run the unit on fan mode for a few hours to thoroughly dry the interior. Store the unit in a dry place.
Ensure the unit is placed on a flat, stable surface. Check for any loose parts or foreign objects inside the unit. If noises persist, contact customer support for further assistance.
Water leakage may occur if the humidity level is very high or if the drainage system is clogged. Ensure the drainage pipe is not obstructed and the unit is positioned correctly.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord. If necessary, ensure the extension cord is heavy-duty and rated for the air conditioner's power requirements to avoid overheating.
To improve energy efficiency, keep curtains and blinds closed during the hottest part of the day, regularly clean the air filter, and set the unit to the energy-saving mode if available.
To reset the air conditioner, turn off the unit and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 5 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
Ensure the air conditioner is plugged in and powered. Check the circuit breaker for any tripped fuses. If the problem persists, it may require professional repair.
