The recommended oil type for the Moto Guzzi BREVA V1100-ABS is 10W-60 fully synthetic motorcycle oil.
It is recommended to change the brake fluid every two years or 20,000 kilometers, whichever comes first.
The recommended tire pressure is 36 psi for the front tire and 42 psi for the rear tire.
First, check the battery condition and ensure it's fully charged. Inspect the starter motor and connections for corrosion or damage. Make sure the kill switch is in the correct position and check the fuel level.
Regular maintenance should be performed every 10,000 kilometers, including oil changes, brake inspection, and checking the air filter and spark plugs.
To adjust the suspension, locate the suspension adjustment knobs on the front forks and rear shock. Use the appropriate tool to turn the knobs to increase or decrease preload and damping according to your riding style and load.
If the ABS warning light remains on, check the ABS sensors and wiring for any visible damage. If the issue persists, consult a certified Moto Guzzi technician for a diagnostic check.
To reset the service indicator, turn the ignition on, press and hold the mode button until the menu appears, navigate to the service reset option, and follow the on-screen instructions.
Use a high-quality ethylene glycol-based coolant with antifreeze and corrosion inhibitors specifically formulated for motorcycles.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain proper tire pressure, avoid aggressive acceleration and deceleration, and ensure regular maintenance is performed. Keeping your motorcycle well-tuned will also enhance fuel efficiency.
