The recommended tire pressure for the Moto Guzzi Audace is 36 psi for the front tire and 42 psi for the rear tire. Always check the tire pressure when the tires are cold for the most accurate reading.
It is recommended to change the oil every 6,000 miles or once a year, whichever comes first. Always use the manufacturer-recommended oil type and grade.
If your Audace won't start, check the battery charge, ensure the kill switch is in the 'run' position, and verify that the kickstand is up. Also, inspect the fuses and check for any error codes on the dashboard.
To improve fuel efficiency, maintain proper tire pressure, use high-quality fuel, perform regular maintenance such as air filter and spark plug changes, and ride at a steady speed avoiding rapid acceleration and braking.
To clean the leather seat, use a damp cloth with mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. After cleaning, apply a quality leather conditioner to maintain suppleness and prevent cracking.
To adjust the rear suspension, locate the adjuster knob on the rear shock absorber. Turn the knob clockwise to increase preload for a firmer ride or counterclockwise to decrease preload for a softer ride. Refer to the owner's manual for specific settings.
Overheating can be caused by low coolant levels, a blocked radiator, or a malfunctioning thermostat. Ensure the cooling system is filled to the proper level and inspect for any leaks or obstructions.
Use DOT 4 brake fluid for the Moto Guzzi Audace. Always use fresh brake fluid from a sealed container to avoid contamination and ensure optimal braking performance.
For electrical issues, check the battery connections, inspect the wiring harness for damage, and test the fuses. Use a multimeter to verify voltage levels and ensure all connections are secure.
Before storing for winter, clean the motorcycle thoroughly, change the oil and filter, add a fuel stabilizer, inflate the tires, and disconnect the battery. Cover the bike with a breathable motorcycle cover and store in a dry place.
