To descale the kettle, fill it with a mixture of half water and half white vinegar. Let it sit for an hour, then boil the solution. Empty the kettle and rinse thoroughly with fresh water. Boil fresh water twice to ensure all vinegar is removed.
Ensure the kettle is properly connected to a power source. Check the power outlet by plugging in a different appliance. If the kettle still does not work, inspect the fuse in the plug and replace it if necessary.
Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent solution and then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
Loud noises during boiling can be caused by scale build-up on the heating element. Descale the kettle regularly to minimize noise and improve performance.
While it is generally safe, it is not recommended to leave water in the kettle for extended periods as it can lead to scale build-up and affect the taste of the water.
Ensure the kettle is completely dry before storing it. Coil the cord around the base, and store the kettle upright in a cool, dry place.
Remove the lid and take out the filter from the spout area. Clean it under warm water and gently scrub with a brush if needed. If the filter is damaged, contact Morphy Richards for a replacement.
It is not recommended to boil less than the minimum water level as it can cause the kettle to overheat and potentially damage the heating element. Always fill to at least the minimum level mark.
Using filtered or distilled water can help reduce scale build-up in the kettle. Regular descaling is also important to maintain efficiency and longevity.
Regularly descale the kettle, use filtered water, and avoid overfilling. Ensure the kettle is dry before storing, and handle with care to prevent damage.
