To perform a factory reset, turn off the inverter and press the MODE and SET buttons simultaneously. Hold them while turning on the inverter. Release the buttons when the display shows 'InI', then press SET to confirm the reset.
Overcurrent errors can be caused by short circuits, sudden load changes, or incorrect parameter settings. Check motor connections, load conditions, and verify parameter settings to troubleshoot the issue.
Adjust the acceleration time using parameter 'ACC' and the deceleration time using parameter 'dEC'. Navigate to these parameters in the programming mode and set the desired time values.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the inverter to prevent dust buildup, checking the cooling fans, inspecting electrical connections for signs of wear, and ensuring that ventilation is unobstructed.
Check the communication cable for damage, ensure correct wiring, and verify that communication settings match between the inverter and connected devices. Consult the manual for specific error codes.
First, disconnect the power supply. Remove the inverter cover to access the fan. Unplug the fan connector and unscrew the fan mounting screws. Replace the fan, secure it with screws, reconnect the fan connector, and replace the cover.
Set parameter 'Pr.79' to the appropriate value to enable external frequency setting. Connect the external device to the specified terminals and adjust the input scaling as needed in the inverter parameters.
Ensure that the start signal is correctly applied to the control terminals. Check for any active trip conditions or alarms on the inverter display and resolve them accordingly before attempting to start the inverter.
The FR-E700 inverter is designed primarily for three-phase motors. Using it with a single-phase motor is not recommended and can lead to improper operation or damage to the motor or inverter.
Firmware updates should be performed by authorized personnel. If an update is required, contact Mitsubishi support for guidance and the necessary firmware files. Follow their procedure strictly to ensure a successful update.
