To activate the AutoDos feature, ensure the PowerDisk is correctly inserted into the compartment. Select a compatible wash program, and the AutoDos feature will automatically dispense the required amount of detergent.
Check the water supply valve to ensure it is fully open. Inspect the inlet hose for kinks or blockages. If the problem persists, clean the inlet filter and restart the dishwasher.
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms to prevent blockages. Run a maintenance wash with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to remove limescale and grease buildup.
Ensure the rinse aid compartment is filled, as rinse aid aids in drying. Check that the selected program includes a drying phase. Also, verify that the dishwasher is not overloaded, which can hinder proper drying.
To clean the filter, remove the lower basket and twist the filter assembly counterclockwise to unlock it. Rinse each component under running water, using a brush if necessary. Reassemble and lock the filter back into place.
Ensure the dishwasher is properly connected to a power source. Verify that the door is fully closed and latched. Check for error messages on the display and consult the user manual for specific troubleshooting instructions.
Place large items like pots and pans on the lower rack, ensuring they do not block the spray arms. Arrange plates and bowls at an angle. Use the upper rack for glasses and cups, and ensure that nothing obstructs the detergent dispenser.
Descale the dishwasher every 3-6 months, depending on the hardness of your water supply. Use a descaling agent recommended by Miele and follow the instructions provided in the user manual.
It is recommended to use Miele's PowerDisk or other compatible detergent designed for the AutoDos system. Regular detergents may not dispense correctly and can affect cleaning performance.
Unpleasant odors can result from food debris buildup. Regularly clean the filter and spray arms. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner, and ensure that dishes are not left in the dishwasher for extended periods.
