To start the McCulloch M53-625CMDWE, ensure the battery is charged for the electric start. Turn the key in the ignition or pull the recoil starter handle if using the manual start option.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and the battery is charged. Clean or replace the air filter and check for any obstructions in the blade area.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then every 25 hours or at the start of each mowing season. Use SAE 30 oil for optimal performance.
Locate the height adjustment lever on the wheel. Move the lever to the desired position to adjust the cutting height between 25mm to 102mm.
Regularly check the oil level, clean the air filter, inspect the spark plug, and ensure the blade is sharp. Clean the underside of the mower after each use to prevent grass buildup.
Clean the mower thoroughly, remove or stabilize the fuel, change the oil, and store it in a dry place. Disconnect the battery and spark plug for safety.
Check for a damaged or unbalanced blade. Ensure the blade is properly secured and inspect for debris lodged in the cutting area.
Ensure the blade is sharp and clean. Maintain an appropriate cutting height and mow when the grass is dry. Regularly clean the underside of the deck.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, remove the old spark plug with a wrench, and install a new one. Ensure it is properly gapped and tightened to the manufacturer's specifications.
Inspect the fuel lines for cracks or damage. Ensure the fuel cap is tight and not damaged. If a leak persists, consult a professional technician.
