It is recommended to change the oil in your McCulloch M3750SM lawn mower every 25 hours of operation or at least once a season to ensure optimal performance.
Use clean, fresh unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using gasoline with more than 10% ethanol to prevent engine damage.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected and clean, and inspect the air filter for blockages. Additionally, make sure the engine switch is in the "on" position.
Drain the fuel tank, change the oil, clean the mower deck, check and clean the air filter, and inspect the spark plug. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered area.
Locate the height adjustment lever on each wheel and move it to the desired position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Check the blade for damage or imbalance, ensure all bolts and nuts are tightened, and inspect the engine mountings for looseness.
Sharpen the blade regularly, ensure the mower deck is clean, and maintain proper engine speed. Avoid mowing wet grass for best results.
Allow the engine to cool, then use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings and debris from the deck and blades. Avoid using water to prevent rust.
Disconnect the spark plug wire, use a spark plug wrench to remove the old plug, and install a new plug. Ensure the new spark plug is properly gapped.
Check for fuel issues, clean the air filter, inspect the spark plug, and ensure the carburetor is functioning correctly. Restart the mower following the manual instructions.
