McCulloch M220-107TC Operator's Manual

To start the McCulloch M220-107TC lawn mower, ensure the fuel tank is filled, the oil level is adequate, and the battery is charged. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it clockwise to start the engine.
If the mower doesn't start, check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, check the spark plug connection, and inspect the air filter for clogs. If these steps don't help, consult the user manual or a professional technician.
The oil should be changed after the first 5 hours of use, then every 50 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season, whichever comes first.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 and avoid ethanol blends higher than 10% to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the engine.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the side of the mower deck. Move the lever to the desired position to achieve the preferred grass height.
After each use, ensure the mower is off and cooled down. Tilt the mower slightly and use a garden hose to spray off grass clippings and debris. Avoid using high-pressure water to prevent damage.
Check if the mower blades are dull or damaged and sharpen or replace them if necessary. Also, ensure the tire pressure is even and that the mower deck is level.
Clean the mower thoroughly, remove any fuel from the tank, and store it in a dry, sheltered location. Disconnect the battery and store it in a cool, dry place to maintain its charge.
Regular maintenance tasks include checking and changing the oil, cleaning or replacing the air filter, inspecting and sharpening the blades, checking tire pressure, and cleaning the mower deck.
To replace the spark plug, first disconnect the spark plug wire. Use a spark plug socket to remove the old spark plug, then install the new one by threading it securely and reconnecting the spark plug wire.
