Ensure the fuel tank is filled and the oil level is correct. Pull the safety lever towards the handle and then pull the starter cord firmly.
Check the fuel level and ensure fresh fuel is used. Inspect the spark plug for wear and clean or replace it if necessary.
Blades should be sharpened at least once a year or after every 25 hours of use. Dull blades can be less effective and damage the grass.
The cutting height can be adjusted using the lever located near the wheels. Move the lever to the desired position for the preferred cutting height.
Regularly check and change the engine oil, clean the air filter, and inspect the spark plug. Follow the maintenance schedule in the user manual.
After use, ensure the mower is turned off and disconnect the spark plug. Use a garden hose to wash away grass clippings and debris.
Check for debris lodged in the blades or an uneven blade. Inspect the blade for balance and sharpen or replace if needed.
Clean the mower thoroughly, drain the fuel, and store it in a dry place. Consider removing the battery and storing it indoors if applicable.
Refer to the user manual for the recommended oil type, typically SAE 30 for most temperatures. Ensure the oil is suitable for 4-stroke engines.
Ensure the tires are properly inflated and the cutting height is set appropriately. Mow in different directions to manage uneven areas effectively.
