To start the trimmer, ensure it is on a flat surface. Turn the choke to the full position, press the primer bulb 6 times, and pull the starter cord until the engine fires. Then, move the choke to the half position and start the engine.
Use a mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality 2-stroke oil at a ratio of 40:1 for optimal performance.
First, ensure the trimmer is off and the spark plug is disconnected. Remove the trimmer head cover, take out any remaining line, and insert new line into the spool, following the directional arrows.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, and inspect the air filter for clogs. If issues persist, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Clean the air filter after every 5 hours of use or more frequently in dusty conditions. Remove the filter, wash it with warm soapy water, let it dry, and reassemble.
Regular maintenance includes checking and replacing the spark plug annually, cleaning or replacing the air filter, and inspecting the trimmer line and head for wear.
Excessive vibration can be caused by an unbalanced trimmer head or damaged components. Inspect the trimmer head for obstructions and ensure all parts are secured tightly.
Hold the trimmer at a slight angle and move steadily along the edge, keeping the line parallel to the ground to achieve a clean cut.
Empty the fuel tank, clean the trimmer thoroughly, and store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Disconnect the spark plug for safety.
Wear protective gear, such as goggles and gloves, keep bystanders away, and avoid using the trimmer in wet or slippery conditions to prevent accidents.
