To start the McCulloch CLASSIC M110-77T lawn mower, ensure the mower is on a flat surface. Engage the parking brake, set the throttle to the choke position, and turn the ignition key until the engine starts. Release the key and adjust the throttle as necessary.
The McCulloch CLASSIC M110-77T lawn mower should be fueled with unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 or higher. Avoid using ethanol-blended fuels with more than 10% ethanol content.
It is recommended to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and then after every 50 hours of operation or at the beginning of each mowing season.
If the mower won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected and clean, and verify that the battery is charged. Additionally, make sure the blades are disengaged and the parking brake is set.
To store the mower, clean the exterior and undercarriage, change the oil, empty the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer, and remove the battery. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered area.
Regular maintenance includes checking and replacing the air filter, changing the oil, sharpening the blades, inspecting the belts, and cleaning the mower deck.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the side of the mower deck. Move the lever to the desired cutting position. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Excessive vibration can be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades. Check the blades for damage and ensure they are properly balanced and securely fastened. If the problem persists, consult a professional technician.
To replace the blades, disconnect the spark plug, tilt the mower, and use a wrench to remove the blade bolt. Replace with a new blade, ensuring it is properly aligned and secured tightly. Reconnect the spark plug before use.
Always wear protective gear, such as gloves and goggles, while operating the mower. Ensure the area is clear of debris and people, and never operate the mower on wet grass or steep slopes.
