To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature. The recommended setting for the fridge is 3-5°C and for the freezer -18°C.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Next, make sure the vents inside the refrigerator are not blocked by food items. Clean the condenser coils at the back and ensure the door seals are clean and tightly closed.
The Matsui MTT667WS is a frost-free model, so manual defrosting is not required. However, if you notice ice buildup, check the door seals and ensure that the door is closing properly.
To clean your refrigerator, unplug it first. Use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down the interior and exterior surfaces. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry with a clean towel. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
To change the light bulb, unplug the refrigerator and locate the bulb cover inside the fridge. Remove the cover and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage, then reattach the cover.
Unusual noises can be due to an uneven floor, items inside touching the walls, or the appliance being too close to a wall. Ensure the refrigerator is level, rearrange contents, and maintain proper clearance from walls.
To enhance energy efficiency, ensure the door seals are intact, avoid frequent door openings, and keep the refrigerator away from heat sources. Regularly clean the condenser coils to improve performance.
Pooling water can be caused by a blocked defrost drain. Clear the drain hole inside the fridge using a mixture of baking soda and warm water to dissolve any blockages.
Before transporting, empty the fridge and secure the shelves. Keep the refrigerator upright during transportation to avoid compressor damage. Once relocated, wait at least 4 hours before plugging it in to allow the compressor oil to settle.
Check if there are any obstructions or if the shelves are improperly placed. Inspect and clean the door seals to ensure they are free from dirt or debris. If the problem persists, the door hinges may need adjustment or replacement.
