To adjust the temperature, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it.
Check if the thermostat is set to the correct temperature and ensure the doors are sealed properly. Clean the condenser coils and ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
It's recommended to defrost the freezer when the frost buildup is about 0.25 inches thick to maintain efficiency.
Use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down the interior surfaces. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Place raw meats on the bottom shelf to prevent drips onto other foods, store dairy products in the colder sections, and keep fruits and vegetables in the designated crisper drawers.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, remove it, and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type. Then replace the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Unusual noises may result from the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating, or the compressor cycling. Ensure the fridge is level and check for loose items.
Allow hot food to cool to room temperature before storing it in the refrigerator to prevent excess moisture and strain on the cooling system.
Check the defrost drain for blockages and ensure it is clean. Also, verify that the door seals are intact and that the refrigerator is level.
After a power outage, simply wait for the power to return, then check the temperature settings and adjust if necessary. Allow several hours for the refrigerator to return to its normal temperature.
