To start a drying cycle, load your clothes into the drum, close the door, select the desired drying cycle using the control panel, and press the start button.
Check if the dryer is plugged in and if the circuit breaker has tripped. Ensure the door is closed properly and that the start button is fully pressed.
Remove the lint filter from the dryer, gently pull off the lint, and wash the filter under running water if necessary. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
Regularly clean the lint filter, check the venting system for obstructions, and ensure the drum is free of objects. Inspect the power cord and plug for wear.
Verify that the dryer is receiving adequate power and that the selected cycle requires heat. Check the thermal fuse and heating element for any issues.
While the dryer can handle most fabrics, delicate items should be air-dried or placed on a low heat setting. Always check garment care labels for guidance.
Ensure you have selected the appropriate drying cycle and check the lint filter and venting for blockages. Consider extending the drying time or increasing the heat setting.
Unplug the dryer from the electrical outlet, wait a few minutes, and plug it back in. This can reset the control board if it encounters an error.
Check for any loose items in the drum or foreign objects caught in the drum seals. Also, ensure the dryer is level and not overloaded.
Remove clothes promptly after the cycle ends and shake them out before folding or hanging. Use the wrinkle guard setting if available.
