To change the temperature settings, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator compartment. Turn the dial to the desired temperature setting. The higher the number, the colder the temperature.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure there is enough space around the refrigerator for proper air circulation. Clean the coils under or behind the unit if they are dusty.
To defrost the freezer, unplug the refrigerator and remove all contents. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt naturally. Place towels around the base to catch any water. Once defrosted, clean and dry the interior before plugging it back in.
Regularly clean the interior with a mild detergent and water. Vacuum the condenser coils every six months to maintain efficiency. Check door seals for cracks or gaps and replace them if necessary.
Water pooling could be due to a blocked defrost drain. Check the drain tube for blockages and clear it with warm water. Ensure the refrigerator is level to allow proper drainage.
Ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent vibrations. Tighten any loose parts such as screws or panels. Keep the refrigerator away from walls to prevent noise amplification.
Check if the refrigerator is plugged in and receiving power. Replace the light bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. If the issue persists, inspect the light switch for faults.
Keep the refrigerator away from heat sources like ovens or direct sunlight. Ensure the door seals are intact. Avoid overloading, and keep the thermostat set to the manufacturer's recommended setting.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the coils, typically at the back or underneath the unit. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment or a coil cleaning brush to remove dust and debris. Reattach any panels and plug the refrigerator back in.
There is no specific reset button on this model. Simply ensure it is plugged in and the thermostat is set to the desired temperature. The refrigerator should resume normal operation.
