To adjust the temperature settings, locate the thermostat dial inside the refrigerator. Turn the dial clockwise to lower the temperature and counterclockwise to increase it. Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize after adjustment.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the thermostat is set correctly. Ensure the door is sealing properly and not obstructed by items inside. Clean the condenser coils if they are dusty, and verify there is adequate ventilation around the unit.
This model is not frost-free, so you should manually defrost it when the frost build-up reaches about a quarter of an inch. It is generally recommended to defrost every few months or as needed.
Unusual noises could be due to the refrigerator being unlevel, items inside vibrating, or the compressor running. Ensure the unit is on a level surface, rearrange items to prevent vibration, and check if the noise is constant or intermittent.
Turn off the refrigerator and remove all items. Use a solution of warm water and mild detergent to wipe down the shelves and interior surfaces. Rinse with clean water and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners.
Do not overcrowd the shelves to allow air circulation. Store raw meats on the bottom shelf to prevent dripping onto other foods. Keep frequently used items at the front and ensure nothing is blocking the air vents.
Ensure the door seals are tight, set the thermostat to the recommended settings, allow hot foods to cool before refrigerating, and defrost the unit regularly to maintain efficiency.
Water leakage can be caused by a blocked defrost drain or improper leveling. Check and clear any blockages in the drain and ensure the refrigerator is level. Also, verify that food is not blocking the drain opening.
Unplug the refrigerator and locate the light bulb cover inside the unit. Remove the cover, unscrew the old bulb, and replace it with a new one of the same wattage. Reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Check if the door seal is clean and free from damage. Realign the door hinges if necessary, and ensure the refrigerator is level. Remove any items blocking the door from closing completely.
